Quite Simply French, Lancaster - Gillow Room
At the rear of the building sits the Gillow Room. This bright and welcoming bedroom has original beams, exposed brickwork and a free-standing bath. The king size bed sits against an impressive gold Lincrusta wall covering and suspended above is a beautiful chandelier, all of which tie in with the feel of the room perfectly. The freestanding bath sits on ‘Shark Negro’ tiles by Peronda complete with uplighters set into them to illuminate the bath. The bath area is positioned next to a wall of exposed brickwork dating right back to the 1800’s and the windows opposite look out to the lush trees of the Quay Meadow.
Gillow’s en-suite mirrors the warm, golden tones of the Lincrusta covering seamlessly with a feature wall of ‘Golden Glossy’ tiles by Life Ceramica. These gold tiles are positioned floor to ceiling in chevron format behind the basin and mirror. Chevron layout is striking enough however when done with the Golden Glossy it creates an amazing WOW factor like no other!
The remaining walls and floor have ‘Rainstone Natural’ by Galileo, a warm beige porcelain tile inspired by natural stone. Its neutral tones compliment a variety of colourways so it works perfectly with the hints of gold and original features in the Gillow Room.
