Quite Simply French, Lancaster - Ripley Room
The Ripley Room is positioned in the middle of the building with natural light flowing in from generous skylights. Eye-catching bold colours, exposed brick work, natural wood beams and more beautiful finishing touches such as a chandelier and oversized mirrors complete the look in this room. The plush king size bed has a vibrant, mustard green headboard that pops against the navy wall and contrasts against the plum carpet.
This en-suite in the Ripley room has more of a muted colourway which differs from that of the bedroom, however it isn’t any less understated. The entire en-suite is fully tiled in ‘Carpet Sand’ by Aparici, a 60x60cm porcelain tile with an element of baroque, flock like patterning to it. Inspired by materials, ‘Carpet’ is a mesmerising mix of colours, hues and patterns and is a real head-turner. Each tile bears a different design, all of which have the worn material look continuing throughout. The warm beige base colour of this collection makes the en-suite an inviting and cosy space to be in which is exactly the vibe you get when entering the Ripley Room. As it has somewhat of a vintage look to it, it’s also in keeping with the original features seen right the way through the QSF Boutique Bedrooms. Another en-suite acknowledging the history of the building and of times gone by.
